Wisconsin senior outside linebacker Joe Schobert has accepted an invitation to play in the 2016 Reese's Senior Bowl.
The Senior Bowl's official Twitter handle confirmed on Tuesday the former walk-on will play against fellow seniors on Jan. 30, 2016 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. in front of dozens of NFL personnel to improve his draft stock. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m. CT on Jan. 30 and will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
Schobert has emerged as a leader of a defense that leads the FBS in scoring defense, only allowing 12.
