The Wisconsin Badgers scrimmaged for the second time in fall camp on Friday afternoon. On Monday, redshirt freshman Alex Hornibrook performed better than redshirt senior Bart Houston in the team’s first scrimmage. On Friday, many media in attendance noted Houston played better than earlier in the week, and according to some, played better than the young southpaw.
Wisconsin Sports Zone Network’s Zach Heilprin and BadgerBlitz.com’s John Veldhuis ($) both reported Houston appeared to have the edge in Friday’s scrimmage. Houston’s always had the better arm in terms of strength and “spinning” the ball, and has shown that all spring.
