The Wisconsin football team heads into the 2016 season with almost the entirety of its defensive line intact following the 2015 season, adding strength to a defense that returns the majority of its front seven.
Of the Badgers rotation players last season, only defensive end Jake Keefer graduates. Keefer had six tackles last season for Wisconsin.
The entire starting lineup returns, along with depth at each position. Leading the way is redshirt junior Chikwe Obasih, who was the Badgers leading tackler on the defensive line with 41 total tackles, adding five tackles for a loss and a sack.
