Building depth a top priority for UW coach Paul Chryst

Madison— With 15 spring practices in the books, Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst possesses a better handle on the football team he will lead into the 2015 season.

In short, Chryst and his assistants have fewer gray areas on defense thanks to the development of inside linebackers T.J. Edwards and Leon Jacobs.

However, a lack of depth and experience on the offensive line remains a troubling and potentially disastrous issue.

"We're not nearly where we want to be," Chryst said after the No. 1 offense led Team (Josh) Gasser to a 35-7 victory over Team (Duje) Dukan in the annual spring game on Saturday.
