It may be news to us, but I can guarantee that Jacob Trouba wanting to get out of Winnipeg, is not news to Winnipeg Jets management. Especially when Trouba’s agent said talks haven’t gone anywhere for “several months”, and since May a trade has been trying to get done.
In a statement, this is what Jacob Trouba’s agent has to say about Jacob Trouba wanting out of Winnipeg:
“Our client, Jacob Trouba, will not be attending the Winnipeg Jets NHL training camp. Since May, we have been working with the Jets management in an effort to facilitate a trade of Jacob’s rights.
