Jets hold on for 2-1 win over Hawks, complete sweep over Central Division's best

CHICAGO – The Winnipeg Jets and Chicago Blackhawks will both be at the end of back-to-back games this weekend when they meet tonight at the United Center.

The Jets (12-13-2), who will be without centreman and leading scorer Mark Scheifele for the second straight game, defeated the St. Louis Blues 3-2 in overtime Saturday night at Scottrade Center. Bryan Little, in just his third game back from a 23-game absence due to injury, scored 17 seconds into overtime to secure the win. Rookie phenom Patrik Laine registered two points, including his 16th goal of the season, which put him in a tie with Sidney Crosby for most goals in the NHL.
