The Winnipeg Jets added another assistant coach to their stable Monday, signing former Minnesota Wild video coach Todd Woodcroft.
Woodcroft is the second addition head coach Paul Maurice has made this summer, following the appointment of Jamie Kompon early in July.
Woodcroft, 43, brings a lengthy history of coaching experience, both at the NHL level and on the international scene.
The Toronto native served as the Minnesota Wild’s video coach from 2000 to 2005 and spent the 2005-06 season with the Washington Capitals. Most recently, he spent three season with the Calgary Flames as the team’s scouting director and professional scout.
