Hellebuyck assigned to Manitoba Moose

The Connor Hellebuyck era has been temporarily put on hold, as the Jets rookie goaltender was assigned to the Manitoba Moose Friday afternoon with the activation of Ondrej Pavelec from the IR.

Hellebuyck, who has started 18 of the last 20 games for the Jets but has been pulled in two of his last three, is already with the Moose and is expected to return as the No.1 guy ahead of current starter Eric Comrie. In 26 games, Hellebuyck posted a 13-11-1 record with a 2.34 goals against average and .918 save percentage.
