LONDON – Deja Young won double gold at the World Para Athletics Championships with a win in the 100 meters Tuesday afternoon at Olympic Park.
Young finished first in the 100 meters with a time of 12.39 to defend her World Championship. Saturday she won the 200 meters with a season best time of 25.10.
Young also won two gold medals at the summer 2016 Paralympics in Rio. Young finished second in the 2015 World Championships in the 200 meters and first in the 100 meters.
