WSU notes: Shocker fans sent to upper level for game in OKC

If Wichita State basketball fans influence home-court advantage in Chesapeake Energy Arena, they will do so from the upper deck.

Tickets for WSU’s Dec. 10 game against Oklahoma in Oklahoma City went on sale Tuesday morning through Ticketmaster. Few, if any, seats in the lower bowl of the 18,203-seat arena were available.

The arena’s lower bowl, which includes suites and floor seats, holds 10,572 people, according to the Oklahoma City All Sports Association. It is a home game for the Sooners and part of the season-ticket package. Add in seats held for members of the All Sports Association and remaining seats for public sale are in the upper bowl, senior director of marketing Jordan Satarawaia of the All Sports Association said in an e-mail.
