RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - The Wichita State women's tennis team wrapped up play at the National Collegiate Tennis Classic.
In singles play, Gabriela Porubin picked up a win over Arizona's Samantha Czarniak, who is ranked No. 89 in ITA's national singles rankings. Porubiun won 5-7, 6-4, 7-5. Giulia Guidetti - currently ranked No. 93 in the nation - lost her opening matchup but would pick up a win before the weekend was over.
Freshmen newcomers Marta Bellucco and Fatima Bizhukova made their debuts.
