WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State's first 14 student-athletes competed Thursday at the West Preliminary Championships competition of the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 25-27.
The Shockers overall qualified 25 track and field student-athletes for the competition.
Austin Corley advanced to the Friday quarterfinals in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 51.
