SACRAMENTO -- Austin Bahner is seventh, and Kendra Henry 10th, after the first day of multis competition at the USATF Outdoor Championships and Junior Championships, respectively, on Thursday.
Henry, collected 2,433 Heptathlon points on the first day in four events, the 100 meter hurdles (16.62), the high jump (4-11/1.50m), the shot put (37-6.75/11.45m) and the 200 meters (29.10). The Heptathlon continues Friday with the long jump, javelin and 800 meters.
Former Shocker All-American and current volunteer assistant coach Austin Bahner was in seventh after five events in the Decathlon with 3,991 points after the 100 meters (10.
