Volleyball Wraps Up Preseason After Exhibition Game Against Ferris

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan volleyball team wrapped up its preseason with an exhibition game against Ferris State on Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs, the preseason No. 14 team in Division II, bested the Broncos 3-2 (26-24, 17-25, 23-25, 21-25, 15-5) in the match that was predetermined to play all five sets regardless of outcome. Every player on the team saw time on the floor for WMU.

Senior Sydney LeMay and sophomore Quinna Ware led all players with 16 kills on the day. LeMay also had a game-high .560 hitting percentage. Freshman Rachel Bontrager had 12 kills on the night.
