KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan junior outfielder Tanner Allison was named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) West Player of the Week for the third time this season following his nice week at Notre Dame and at home against Buffalo.

Allison had a historic regular season finale, as the junior broke the WMU single season RBI record in Saturday's win over Buffalo. He passed Frank Alferi's previous high of 63 set in 1999, a record that stood for 17 full seasons at WMU. Allison now has 66 RBI this season after another nice week at the plate where he hit .
