Men's Soccer Plays Detroit Mercy in Final Tune-Up

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's soccer team travels to the University of Detroit Mercy on Saturday, Aug. 19 for its last exhibition match at 12:00 p.m.

Western Michigan began the 2017 season with a win in PKs against DePaul 1-1 (4-2) last Sunday, Aug. 13. Sophomore midfielder Anthony Bowie tied the match late to force PKs. Senior Jay McIntosh gave WMU the lead in PKs 3-2 and junior Kosti Moni made good on his shot giving the Broncos 4-2 advantage, sealing the WMU victory.
