COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan hockey's Ryan McAllister and Jason Polin have swept the National Collegiate Hockey Conference monthly awards, with McAllister repeating as Rookie of the Month and Polin earning Player of the Month.
McAllister, the nation's leading scorer, posted 16 points from two goals and 14 assists in seven games. The London, Ontario, native also had a +10 plus/minus and fired off 26 total shots on goal.
