A winning weekend for WMU baseball in Ohio

After a nail-biting loss at Friday night’s game, the Broncos saddled up, and took both victories in the double-header on Saturday.

Western started off strong on Friday, with a home run to left field in the first inning by senior Grant Miller. Miller completed the fourth-longest hitting streak in the university’s history this past weekend, with 19 consecutive games.

The Broncos maintained through the top of the sixth inning, where sophomore Nate Grys batted in two more runs. A single from Miami University, who went on to win the game in the 10th inning, 3-4, broke this scoring streak.
