LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Western Michigan track and field team fell short of qualifying for the NCAA Championships after missing the cut in the 4x400-meter relay on Saturday night.
The team of Jordan Anderson, Lindsey Hufnagel, Davonne Bolden and Keyera Lige combined to run a time of 3:43.97 and finished in 21st. The Broncos were the lone team in event in the region to represent the Mid-American Conference.
Anderson, Hufnagel and Lige all wrap up their Bronco careers on a high note. All three scored for WMU at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championship, with Hufnagel winning the 400-meter hurdles.
