For the third consecutive day, Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White has earned preseason honors.
The senior was named Wednesday morning to both the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Watch Lists. White is one of 30 listed for the Davey O'Brien award and one of 47 for the Johnny Unitas honor.
White is no stranger to Davey O'Brien recognition, as he was a "Great 8" performer following his Hilltopper debut vs. Rice to begin the 2016 season. Against the Owls, he completed 25-of-31 passes for 517 yards and three touchdowns as WKU started the year with a 46-14 victory.
