WKU players Baker, Lane, Obee all facing indefinite game suspensions

IRVING, Texas – Three Western Kentucky football players will face game suspensions to start the 2017 football season. Mike Sanford says the length of those suspensions will be determined after the legal process plays out.

Running back Quinton Baker, wide receiver Xavier Lane and linebacker Tyler Obee will all be suspended for an indefinite number of games, the Hilltopper coach Sanford told the Daily News on Thursday at Conference USA Media Days.

Baker, Obee and Lane were arraigned in Warren Circuit Court earlier this month on charges of complicity to first-degree wanton endangerment, complicity to fourth-degree assault and third-degree criminal trespassing.
