Western Kentucky linebacker Drew O'Bryan announced on Twitter over the weekend that he's transferring to FCS program Eastern Kentucky.
O'Bryan, a redshirt freshman, left the Hilltopper team during spring practice, program sources confirmed.
O'Bryan joined WKU as an early enrollee in January 2016. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker prepped at Paul G. Blazer High School in Ashland, where he was a high school teammate of Topper running back Quinton Baker.
O'Bryan tallied 109 tackles, 16 for loss, with two sacks and three forced fumbles as a high school senior in 2015.
