After leading the Western Kentucky men’s track and field team to a first-place finish at the 2017 Conference USA Outdoor Championships, junior Julius Morris has been tabbed the C-USA Male Track Performer of the Meet.
The Montserrat native showed off his speed in El Paso, Texas, last weekend racking up four gold medals in the short sprints and team relays.
Morris, who collected the second-most points of the meet by an individual with 25 points, clocked a C-USA Championships record in the 100-meter dash (10.15). He also broke the 200-meter dash record, with a time of 20.
