Rick Stansbury has been consistent with his message on recruiting in-state prospects.
Hollingsworth, a 6-foot-3 guard from Lexington, and Ohmer, a 6-foot guard from Taylor Mill, took different paths to Bowling Green.
Hollingsworth was one of the first Class of 2018 players Stansbury really took the time to watch last year.
But once Stansbury saw the Scott HS guard drop 106 points over three games at the Kentucky state tourney, WKU’s coach knew he wanted Ohmer. The guard committed that March weekend and signed with the school in April.
Hollingsworth was already an accomplished high school basketball player going into his senior season.
