IRVING, Texas — WKU Track and Field’s Ventavius Sears was named the Conference USA Male Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. In just the second week of honors awarded, Sears is the first Hilltopper of 2017 to pick up a weekly accolade after claiming both the long jump and triple jump event crowns at the Commodore Invite last weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.
