The matchups are set for West Virginia’s early season tournament, AdvoCare Invitational. The Mountaineers will take on Marist on Thursday, November 23. The winner of that game will play the winner of Nebraska vs UCF on Friday, November 24 at 5 PM. The losers of the opening games will play Friday at 8:30.
If the Mountaineers are able to win their first two games, they would then play for the championship on Sunday, November 26 at 9:30 PM. The Mountaineers possible opponents in the championship game are: Missouri, Long Beach State, St. Johns and Oregon State. Missouri is currently ranked #25 in ESPN.
