MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University rifle standouts Ginny Thrasher and Milica Babic won two of the top individual honors at the Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) Championships banquet this evening at the University of Akron’s InfoCision Stadium, in Akron, Ohio.
Thrasher, a sophomore, was named the GARC Shooter of the Year, while Babic, a freshman, was named the GARC Outstanding Rookie.
A native of Springfield, Virginia, Thrasher is the third Mountaineer in as many years to earn the conference’s top honor, following in the footsteps of Ziva Dvorsak (2015) and Garrett Spurgeon (2016).
