The West Virginia Mountaineers Are 6-0, Send TCU Packing 34-10

The West Virginia Mountaineers are 6-0, marking the team’s best start since 2006, after soundly beating the TCU Horned Frogs in Morgantown 34-10.

As with every other matchup between the two teams, this one was an ugly one and, even with the Mountaineers holding the lead from the first minute of the game, it never truly felt like a comfortable lead until midway through the fourth quarter.

West Virginia’s offensive line allowed TCU to keep pressure on Mountaineer quarterback Skyler Howard throughout the game, and gave up 5 sacks. Despite scrambling for his life, Howard still had a pretty solid game, finishing 16-of-23 passing (70%) for 231 yards and 4 touchdowns.
