MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Junior Shamoya McNeil of the West Virginia University track and field team punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on the final day of the 2017 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary Round on Saturday, in Lexington, Kentucky.
A pair of Mountaineers, McNeil and sophomore Danique Bryan competed in the women’s triple jump earlier Saturday evening.
McNeil punched her ticket to Eugene after placing 11th in the triple jump with a clearance of 13.04 meters (42'-9 ½"), to add another NCAA qualifier to WVU’s collection.
