MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team completed the second day of the 2016 NCAA East Prelims on Friday at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.
Juniors Amy Cashin and Megan Yuan represented West Virginia in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Cashin took a top-15 finish, placing 15th with a new personal-best time of 10:11.08. She improved 10.28 seconds from her previous best time. Yuan placed 37th with a time of 10:38.27.
Senior Hannah Stone competed in the field events for the Mountaineers. She tied for 27th high jump with a mark of 1.
