Seven members of the West Virginia University track and field team qualified for the 2015 Outdoor Track & Field NCAA East Preliminary Championships from May 28-30 at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.
Gillespie, the Big 12 Champion in the 10,000 meters, ranks No. 7 in the 10K this season. She qualifies with a time of 33:45.56.
Paladino, a Morgantown, West Virginia, native, leads the way for the Mountaineers in the 1,500-meter run, ranked 24th with a season-best of 4:21.35. She is joined in the event by Cashin, who ranks 31st with a 4:22.31, and Kerekes, who sits 42nd in the East Region with a time of 4:23.
