MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Only hours after receiving an offer Saturday afternoon, Cincinnati Colerain offensive tackle/tight end Nathan Niehaus committed to West Virginia.
The 6-foot-6, 255-pounder has a lean build and the kind of mobility that could allow him to play either position in college. He has not received a ranking from Rivals but picked up offers this summer from Louisville, Illinois and several MAC schools. Several Big Ten programs, including Michigan State Penn State and Indiana, also have contacted Niehaus.
