Snodgrass was said to have rejected the chance to link up with Barca on trial when coming through the ranks at Livingston, sparking bemusement throughout the footballing world.
But the 29-year-old Scotland international insists there was any interest from the five-time European champions.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: "You’d have to be insane to reject a trial at Barcelona.
“No-one would turn down a chance like that but I don’t think about what might have been because it never happened.
