Huddersfield Town FC transfer news: Montpellier striker Steve Mounie set to join Premier League new boys in £11.5million deal

Huddersfield Town are set to beat Leicester City and West Brom to the £11.5m signing of Montpellier striker Steve Mounie.

The 22-year-old struck 14 times in Ligue 1 last season and his form has caught the eye of several clubs in England.

Both Leicester and West Brom have been tracking the Benin international, while Fulham are also interested in him too.

But, according to L'Equipe, Mounie is closing in on a move to Premier League new boys Huddersfield instead.

The Terriers have reportedly already agreed personal terms with the forward and now they are firming up a fee for him.
