Watford are in talks with Marco Silva about the vacant manager's job at Vicarage Road.
Silva, who left his position at Hull earlier this week, has been to meet the Hornets, who are looking to replace Walter Mazzarri.
The Portuguese had been in discussions over a move back to his home country and the head coach role at Porto but those negotiations stalled.
Watford are looking for a new manager after their decision to part company with Mazzarri after a single season.
