Washington Wizards Solidify Bench By Starting Kris Humphries, Moving Nene To Second Unit

Even though the Washington Wizards seemed committed to playing more small-ball during training camp, most people expected them to keep the same starting lineup minus Paul Pierce.

However, Randy Wittman decided to switch things up a bit against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.

Instead of starting Nene, Wittman swapped the big Brazilian out for Kris Humphries — who’s worked on developing a three point shot this off-season.

Humphries, while a few inches shorter than Nene, isn’t exactly the prototypical stretch four.
