The Oklahoma City Thunder are one win away from eliminating the 73-win Golden State Warriors and advancing to the NBA Finals.
Oklahoma City’s success in the NBA Playoffs has been ridiculously surprising, despite the amount of talent they have. Even prior to gaining a 3-1 lead against the Warriors, the Thunder showed their dominance by trouncing the San Antonio Spurs in six games.
Before this season, the Thunder always seemed to have something missing that stopped them from winning an NBA championship. Their former head coach, Scott Brooks, was reluctant to take chances and the Thunder spluttered against top competition.
