Wizards News: John Wall fined, Quincy Acy suspended after Christmas altercation

New York Knicks forward Quincy Acy and Washington Wizards guard John Wall were involved in an altercation late in the Wizards' 102-91 win on Christmas Day, leading to a suspension for Acy and a fine for Wall.

Per Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports, Acy received a one-game suspension for leveling Wall with his body when the guard attempted to get to the rim and subsequently appearing to throw a punch at Wall in the ensuing melee:

However, Wall's pocketbook is $15,000 lighter after responding to Acy's foul with a shove:

After the game, Acy told the press, via Ian Begley of ESPNNewYork.com, that he didn't actually throw a punch, but that he "got up and reacted, then I just grabbed him."
