Washington Wizards point guard John Wall will not participate in the Skills Challenge during All-Star Saturday Night, opting for rest instead.
He will be replaced by Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverly in the competition. Utah’s Trey Burke, Chicago’s Jimmy Butler, Philadelphia’s Michael Carter-Williams, Milwaukee’s Brandon Knight, Toronto’s Kyle Lowry, Atlanta’s Jeff Teague, and Phoenix’s Isaiah Thomas are the other competitors.
Wall will still play in the All-Star game, where he was voted as a starter.
