After he went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, former Maryland standout Dez Wells will play for the Washington Wizards‘ summer league team.
Wells, 23, was considered to be a late second-round pick. Wells spent his final three years at the University of Maryland after transferring from Xavier.
Despite lacking the pedigree of other rookies, Wells should be able to make the final roster for the Wizards because of his versatility.
