John Wall and adidas teamed up to celebrate the Halloween spirit on Friday, surprising D.C.-area kids by answering the door of a nondescript house in Capitol Hill and handing trick-or-treaters pairs of Wall's new signature shoe, the J Wall 1.
There was possibly a staged aspect to the event with a few of the trick-or-treaters wearing Wizards jerseys and one even wearing a John Wall log T-shirt.
However, the sentiment behind giving D.C. kids free shoes and Washington Wizards tickets instead of fun-sized candy bars and raisins is something that should be celebrated for both its creativity and its kindness
