Washington State quarterback Luke Falk is on just about every college football preseason award watch list imaginable, and he was added to yet another watch list Thursday when the Rotary Lombardi Award committee announced a list of 158 players who could win the award this season.
Falk, WSU’s second-year starting quarterback from Logan, Utah, and WSU’s sophomore defensive end Hercules Mata’afa are both on the watch list for this year’s Rotary Lombardi Award that goes to the college football player who demonstrates outstanding performance and skill in offensive or defensive positions and best exemplifies the discipline, virtue and wisdom that defined Vince Lombardi’s brand of leadership.
