COUGARS WRAP-UP YEAR; TAKE UP SUMMER TRAINING, COMPETITION
The Washington State University track and field team student-athletes concluded the 2017 outdoor season with three All-America performances at the NCAA Championships... finished sixth in the heptathlon for first team honors while (9th in 400m hurdles) and (14th in hammer) earned second team honors...during the outdoor season, WSU women surpassed or equaled lifetime-best 70 marks while Cougar men surpassed or equaled lifetime-best 75 marks...a total of 24 marks were added in 2017 to the WSU All-time Top 10 or Freshman School Records: 19 for women and five for men.
