Cougars Have No Trouble Against Seattle

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women’s tennis team captured all six singles matches enroot to a 7-0 victory over Seattle, Saturday morning at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse. With the win the Cougars improve to 7-0 on the season while Seattle falls to 3-5.

The Cougars captured the opening doubles point once again. The No. 2 team of Donika Bashota and Victoria Matejevic opened with a dominant 6-1 win over Madison Maloney and Barbara Carey. The Cougars were tripped up at No. 1 as Maria Biryukova and Trang Huynh fell 6-3 to Kelly Woodman and Barbara Carey.
