These workouts, like those earlier in the offseason, are also voluntary, although participation is encouraged. Thus, two high-profile absences on day one stand out. Trent Williams and Jordan Reed failed to make an appearance at today’s workouts. These absences shouldn’t be blown out of proportion, however. Per Mike Jones of the Washington Post, neither was expected to attend Tuesday’s practice.
