Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson 'ready to roll' against Giants

ASHBURN — Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson is expected to play on Sunday against the New York Giants after sustaining a knee and ankle injury in last week’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Jackson did not participate in practice on Wednesday, but progressed during the week with two “good” practices on Thursday and Friday.

“He’ll be ready to roll,” Gruden said.

Along with Jackson, left tackle Trent Williams was a full participant on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury.

Defensive end Kendall Reyes is out with a groin injury and did not practice this week after being inactive against the Cowboys.
