Redskins select Temple defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis in fifth round

ASHBURN — The Washington Redskins made their second trade of the NFL draft on Saturday and dealt their fourth-round pick, 120th overall, to the New Orleans Saints.

The Redskins received the Saints‘ fifth-round pick this year, 152nd overall, as well as New Orleans’ fifth-round pick in 2017. Washington now has the 152nd and 158th picks in Saturday’s fifth round.

In the first round on Thursday, the Redskins‘ traded back one spot to 22nd with the Houston Texans and acquired a sixth-round pick for 2017.

For the remainder of this year’s draft, Washington now has two fifth-round picks, the 187th overall pick in the sixth round and two picks in the seventh round, 232nd and 242nd overall.
