ASHBURN — After trading their fourth-round pick, the Washington Redskins added a defensive lineman in the fifth round and selected Matt Ioannidis from Temple with the No. 152 pick. The Redskins acquired the pick from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for their fourth-round pick, which was No. 120 overall, and also acquired the Saints’ fifth-round pick in 2017.
In the sixth round, the Redskins selected Indiana quarterback Nate Sudfeld with the 187th pick.
Ioannidis, who stands at 6-3 and weighs 299 pounds, is listed as a defensive tackle but plays both inside and outside.
