According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, the Redskins worked out Michigan S Jabrill Peppers and had dinner with him in Ann Arbor last weekend.
Ian Rapoport reports that the Redskins have discussed the possibility of trading back in the latter portion of round one to target secondary help. Rapoport adds that it’s possible Peppers could be their target in this scenario.
It’s worth mentioning that Peppers tested positive for a diluted sample at the combine.
Peppers’ agency released the following statement via SAdam Schefter regarding the diluted sample.
