Redskins Draft: Who might replace Alfred Morris?

The Washington Redskins have made it known. They are willing to let running back Alfred Morris test the free agent market before making him a contract offer. The fact that the Redskins won’t offer Morris deal before he hits the market suggests they don’t really want him back.

This is a huge move but not particularly unexpected. Morris’ production has dropped over the last two seasons and he’s never been a real threat out of the backfield as a receiver. Morris is at his best running behind a zone blocking scheme and the Redskins are trying to establish a power running game.
